Finished!! – Farm Girl Vintage Quilt

I was beginning to think this day would never arrive!! I finally finished my Farm Girl Vintage Quilt today!! I stitched on the last of the binding and the monster is done. Yay!! The weather has tanked again, so I’ll have to wait for it to dry out before I can get some better pictures, but here’s one to tide you over. πŸ™‚

  1. It is beautful! My friend and I are getting ready to start sewing 2 blocks each week. We are looking to make the 12″ blocks as well. Do you know how much background fabric you used? Also what size did this come out to? Thanks! You did a fantastic job on yours. I’m so excited to get started.

    1. Thanks for visiting and commenting, Julie! I really can’t remember how much background I used. I used several colors of swiss dot on a white background. I think I ordered a yard each of 5 or 6 colors and used the majority of it. The quilt is gigantic! I’m not sure what I was thinking. πŸ˜€ We have a queen size bed and it touches the floor on both sides of the bed and at the end of the bed there’s quite a bit on the floor. I guess I need to get measurements at some point. πŸ™‚ I’m going to email this to you as well, so if you receive it twice, sorry! πŸ™‚
