Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs is hosting a Best of 2015 Linky Party! I decided to do a post about my five favorite finishes from 2015. Having a favorite quilt is like having a favorite child (NOT POSSIBLE!!) but I’ve narrowed it down to these five finishes! 🙂
Texas Bluebonnets Forever!
I made this quilt as a gift for my mom. They live in Texas and bluebonnets are the state flower, so it was a pattern and color scheme match made in heaven. She loved it! 🙂
Little Joys Quilt
This quilt was a free pattern from Fat Quarter Shop a few months ago. The Tole Christmas fabric line was perfect for this one. It’s hanging over our fireplace right now! 🙂
Dog Gone Cute Quilt
Of course, my Dog Gone Cute quilt was going to be on this list! Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts made such a cute pattern and I just love the Hello Darling fabric that I used. I need to make some matching pillows! 🙂
Sugar Plums Autumn Colorway Quilt
This quilt will be my last finish of 2015. I love the pattern from the Winter Wonderland book by Sherri at This and That Patterns. I used almost the same fabrics that she used for the sew along and it came out so beautifully! The quilting by Ormond Beach Quilts was the final touch! 🙂
Farm Girl Vintage Quilt
And last, but definitely not least, is my Farm Girl Vintage quilt. What can I say about this one that I haven’t said before. I’m so proud of this one! It’s currently on our bed and I just love sleeping under something I made every single night. ❤
I am really enjoying getting to visit everyone who linked up with Cheryl. This is a beautiful glimpse of your quilting. 🙂

You have some lovely finishes here… I totally hear you on it being hard to choose favourites over the course of the year. The Texas Bluebonnet quilt is a really eye catcher…. gets me thinking about what I could do with a map of my province!

All of your finishes are so beautiful, I can see how it would be difficult to narrow it down to only five picks. I really love your Farm Girl. It’s such a happy quilt! So glad you participated in the DGC quilt along and that I have gotten to know you, Laurel. Looking forward to seeing what you create in the coming New Year. Happy 2016!

…and proud you should be on your Farm Girl Vintage quilt- such a nice finish! I’m doing a twelve block version of this in the large size, and I just have to work on the borders before it gets quilted.
Wishing you the best for 2016 and a good slide into the new year!
Greetings from Germany!
